Q: Please identify what option comes closest to your philosophy on transportation infrastructure policy.

A: I have always believed the state level is always the best home for these decisions. However, they can no longer meet these needs alone. I support more federal dollars that DO NOT COME WITH STRINGS attached to them.

Q: Would you vote for legislation to provide up to $100 billion or more in new transportation infrastructure funding through a federal bond program (similar to the Build America Bonds proposal?

A: Yes.

Q: Would you vote to allow federal investment through Public-Private Partnerships (P3s) for road, rail and transit projects?

A: Yes.
