Supports line-item veto to reduce deficit

The government needs to cut spending along with cutting taxes. We are rapidly closing in on a $3 trillion budget. I'm a Reagan Republican when it comes to government spending - let's get rid of all the waste, fraud and abuse - and you can find plenty of that in a $3 trillion budget. Almost every governor in America has the power of the line item veto and the President of the United States should have the same option.
